Apple in the morning

Manhattan’s different vibe when the sun rises.

It’s a messy city but clearly quite cleaner from the 80ies. But certain areas of the big apple still have that specific visual effect that some of us see it as. Showing us a city that kept it’s harsh metallic frost that warms up by it’s citizens.

The fog

Portland, Maine.

Traveling to this state reminds me what possibilities we have in life.
To explore unknown paths and expect weather as unclear as the destination that we take.

120mm Film

Shot on Kiev-88, Pentax 67 and Mamiya RZ-67

Last time open was 1971

Discovering an old church lost in the woods.

Just a small asphalt road led up to this abandoned church.
No cars or people left, just the building in the sunlight.

UrbX

Mostly Shot on Canon 7D MII and Sony A7R II

Office closed

UrbX and it’s hidden lost locations.

Of most of my explorations, fining gems like this of abandonment and deterioration is when the isolation kicks in.
Many of these places were created in the 50ies to the 70ies. Still seeing them standing to this day is what amazes me. For the amount of vandalism that this pace has, I’m always surprised of never crossing someone else but always finding myself alone.
Life stands still as nature takes back what once belonged to her.

Go look, I dare you...
